Saibu Gas announced the launch of a business to manufacture and sell drinking water. A new wholly-owned company they formally established on April 2 outsources the production of bottles, and they will deliver the water to households and workplaces throughout Kyushu. The utility hopes to have annual turnover of 2 billion yen in the business in five or six years, and use the brand to promote their name to people who don’t use their gas.
