The fees for gas used in the home are adjusted through a system that automatically reflects changes in the price of liquid natural gas. Based on this system, the Fukuoka City-based Saibu Gas plans to raise its fees in the January-March quarter next year. The decreased volatility of liquid natural gas prices in recent weeks, however, has prompted Saibu Gas to seriously reconsider the amount by which they will raise rates.
