The fan vote for July’s Pro Baseball All-Star Game has concluded, and four players from SoftBank have been selected: team captain Yuki Yanagita, closer Osuna, third baseman Kurihara Ryouya, and outfielder Kondo Kensuke. Osuna, in his first year with SoftBank and making his All-Star debut, has shown exceptional performance with an ERA of 0.41 and 13 saves. Kurihara leads the league with 40 RBIs and is stepping into the third base role for the first time this season. Kondo, also in his first year with SoftBank and making his third All-Star appearance, leads the league in batting average in scoring position (.397) and is second in RBIs (39). Yanagita, being selected for the eighth time, is third in the league in both home runs (11) and batting average (.293), and collected over 720,000 votes, the most in the Pacific League. The All-Star Game will take place on July 19th at the Vantelin Dome in Nagoya and on July 20th at the Mazda Stadium in Hiroshima. Source: NHK
