The company operating the Kitakyushu theme park Spaceworld revealed that it would reduce the number of employees at the facility by half. The intent is to reduce personnel costs and reinvest the savings into the facility itself to attract more customers. The group that owns Spaceworld controls a total of 30 such facilities, and has maintained employment at all of them, but made an exception in this case to prevent the facility’s closure.
