Kitakyushu-based airline StarFlyer will open a Fukuoka–Sendai route on October 3, initially offering one round trip per day and expanding to two from October 26. Flight times are 11:00 a.m. departure from Fukuoka (arriving at 12:45 p.m.) and 2:45 p.m. departure from Sendai (arriving at 5:00 p.m.). The carrier’s domestic network will increase to six routes. To accommodate this, the company will cut its Fukuoka–Chubu service from 12 to 6 daily flights starting October 1. StarFlyer said the move targets strong business demand. Source: StarFlyer
