The Kitakyushu-based airline Starflyer announced plans to begin operation of a training center for pilots and ground personnel in 2012. The center will be located near the Kitakyushu Airport, and will contain a flight simulator for the Airbus A320, which the airline operates. The center is a demonstration that the company plans to expand and hire additional personnel in the future.
