JR Kyushu’s contactless payment card Sugoca, which will formally go into use March 1, will be able to be used at 294 commercial facilities and parking lots, it was announced. A total of 228 of the sites are located on the premises of JR Kyushu’s train stations, including kiosks, shops, and car rental agencies. The 66 facilities outside the stations include Drug Eleven and the Aoyama clothing store chain. JR Kyushu plans to promote the card for use at convenience stores and vending machines in the future.
