Sukesan Udon Introduces Vaccination Day Off System

Kitakyushu City-based udon noodle chain, Sukesan Udon, announced paid vaccination leave to its workers. Approximately 700 employees working at its shops, factories, and more would be able to take a paid holiday on the day of vaccination. An additional day off will be given to those who develop side effects. While vaccination leaves are becoming more common among major companies, it is not common. Sukesan announced intentions to offer employment to students whose job offers have been canceled due to circumstances related to the pandemic. Source: NHK / PR Times
