The Fukuoka branch of Teikoku Databank released its survey of 760 local companies that have established a presence in 10 Asian countries or territories. The survey shows that 58% of the companies are concentrated in China, where there is strong economic growth. Ranked second was South Korea, at 9%. Teikoku Databank noted that most of the companies in China are financial institutions or large firms with customers in the country.
