Tenjin Vivre closed its doors for good on February 11. The shopping complex first opened in 1976 as Nichii Tenjin and has since served as the center of young culture and fashion. On the last day of the closing sale, many former customers and current customers came for a final look; some took photos in front of the building to keep as a memory. Approximately 90 shops and culture were in operation on the closing day. The space will be redeveloped as part of a large commercial complex by 2024. Source: Mainichi Shinbun 02/11/2020
