Toyota Kyushu is encouraging its 7,700 employees to become involved in volunteer activities in their local communities. The company has made this a policy since sharply cutting back on production during the 2008 financial downturn. Recently, 312 painters working on the Lexus line painted the playground equipment at four primary schools in the city of Miyawaka.
