Kwassui Women’s College of Nagasaki City and the Deer Company, which processes the meat from deer raised on their own ranch in Minamishimabara, have jointly developed hot dogs made from venison. They held a tasting party in a Nagasaki City hotel on the 28th to promote their planned sale next spring. Venison has fewer calories and fat than beef, and is rich in iron and vitamins.
