Kitakyushu based Yaskawa Denki announced their expansion into Turkey, with the launch of Yaskawa Turkey Elektrik Ticaret Ltd. Sti. on July 8. The company will sell inverters and robots to the local market in Turkey. It is the 29th venture into the overseas market for Yaskawa Denki, and with Turkey’s recent economic growth (more than 5% growth in 10 years) the company has high hopes for the future. Yaskawa Turkey has a start-up-capital of 13 million yen from Yaskawa Europe (Germany).
