水兵服和五月花柱舞

直到十几年前，日本女学生的制服几乎都是水兵服。这种与水手服非常相似的制服，据说其发祥地是福冈。1921年,以“MISSION”的爱称而广为人知的福冈女学院采用了这种制服。冬装是深蓝色的衣服配上深红色围巾，夏装则是蓝色衣服配上白色条纹。现在也基本上继承了最初的制服款式。

建筑家前川国男与福冈市美术馆

福冈市美术馆结束了历时2年半的大规模改建装修，于3月21日重新开放。为了建成“更加开放的美术馆”，在大濠公园那边设置了新入口，扩充了咖啡馆和餐厅。不仅翻新装修了建筑物和设备，而且增设了市民可利用的画廊以及孩子们玩耍的儿童空间等，进行了各种巧运匠心的设计。

如日本刀般锋利的博多剪刀

如果一直精心保养爱惜使用，博多剪刀可以用一辈子。博多剪刀被比作日本刀，其锋利程度出众超群。只有熟练的工匠才能做出这种银色的优美形状，手持部分刻有菱形图案，这是剪刀的一大特征。在昭和10年代（1935～1945年），一说起剪刀，就是指博多剪刀，在日本全国遐迩闻名。现在，在从事西式裁缝的人士中仍然大有人气。
