Enjoy wisteria in the heart of the city! 10 of the 30 wisteria plants here are over 100 years old and were moved to here from Higashi Koen (Hakata-ku). Under the care of expert gardeners, the wisteria plants are now in better condition than ever. During the event period, organic vegetables, miso, rice grains, olive oil and more will be on sale at the on-site market. On Apr. 21 and 22 you can enjoy hojicha at the pop-up cafe or join workshops on kokedama (plants on balls of moss) making, flower arranging and more.
