An exhibition of Japanese sculptor Chiharu Irie’s works will fill Hakata Machiya Folk Museum. Irie’s work focuses on sculpting porcelain figurines and using lighting to bringing these figurines to life. Many of her sculptures focus on Hakata-ben, often creating sculptures of children to depicting quotidien, everyday life.
