Originating as a dedication fireworks display for Suitengu Shrine along the Chikugo River, this historic festival boasts a history of over 350 years. With 15,000 fireworks launched, it is one of the largest fireworks displays in Western Japan. Each venue offers different set-piece fireworks, but all provide a breathtaking experience with massive rapid-fire displays and earth-shaking fireworks that light up the entire sky.
