This special Japanese Noh dance performance “Hajimete no Noh Kansho” is held in at Ohori Park Noh theater in celebration of the 25th anniversary of volunteer group Fukuoka Sakura Lion’s Club. Professional Noh group “Taka no Kai” will lead the dance, with the first appearance of children who are training to take over the tradition in the future. It’s a rare opportunity to see children’s first experience performing Noh. The story of this dance performance tells the popular 12C folk tale of Benkei and Ushiwaka.
