With over 100 million copies in print, Fist of the North Star has transcended generations and borders to become one of the most beloved manga series of all time. Now, to mark the 40th anniversary of its debut, the largest-ever exhibition of original artwork is being held. More than 400 pieces will be on display, including brand-new illustrations created by Tetsuo Hara especially for this event. The raw power and detail of the original drawings—something that couldn’t be fully conveyed in the serialized manga or printed volumes—are sure to impress longtime fans and first-time viewers alike. Most of the artwork on display, including the originals, can be photographed inside the venue.
