A fair focused on Hasamiyaki ceramics, popular for its cheerful and light colored designs that are best-fit for daily use, will take place in the town of Hasami involving the works of approximately 150 potters. Enjoy speaking with the craftsmen, find your favorite ceramic items and purchase them at bargain prices! There will also be a demonstration of the potter’s wheel and workshops for hands-on casting and painting. A shuttle bus will run from the nearest station (Arita) to the venue every 15 minutes starting at 8:40 a.m. (¥500/day, free for high school students and younger).
