Experience the enchanting autumn colors at the Momiji Festival, held at the Kamado Shrine on Homanzan Mountain in Dazaifu. This sacred site, famed for its matchmaking deities, transforms into a scenic marvel with around 300 deciduous trees, such as maples and ginkgos, donning their vibrant fall hues. From November 18 to 30, 2023, the festival not only celebrates these autumnal shades but also features an evening illumination event. Visitors can enjoy mini-concerts, explore a variety of stalls offering local produce and handmade crafts, and savor an assortment of culinary delights from food trucks.
