Events

In 2019, Kokura Castle was renovated and had been upgraded as an experience-based tourist spot with a new video theater and photo-taking spots. At this event, which as an autumn event in Kitakyushu, about 30,000 bamboo lanterns are lit in the castle tower. The area around Kokura Castle creates a unique atmosphere. If you bring a lighter, you can help light candles at the designated time.
