Kyushu Rainbow Pride 2018

START: Nov 4, 2018 END: Nov 4, 2018

Kyushu Rainbow Pride is a celebration of life and Japanese LGBT culture in a free society, attended by 7,000 people last year. Show your pride and join this year’s parade, which will leave Reisen Park at 14:00 and march to Tenjin and back over the course of an hour. Persons with disabilities and wheelchair users can join the parade too by riding the Fukuoka Open Top Bus (limit 30 persons). Browse 42 booths in Reisen Park, some by big companies and organizations including Japan Airlines, Shiseido, 7-Eleven, Icelandair, Don Quijote, SoftBank, US Consulate Fukuoka, Fukuoka Bar Association and more, offering their services to the LGBT community. Various LGBT groups and organizations will also have consultation booths. Enjoy karaage, curry, yakisoba, shochu and more sold at food and drink booths while watching song and dance performances from local Fukuoka performers as well as LGBT artists such as gay idol group Nijigumi Fights. Children’s play area, talk on LGBT, a photo booth and rainbow-themed goods, too!
