Each autumn, Tenjin comes alive with music during this annual urban festival, which transforms the city center into a series of open-air performance venues. Centered around Fureai Hiroba on the west side of Fukuoka City Hall, the event also features live music and performances at locations including Kirameki-dori and Solaria Plaza. Visitors can enjoy performances while shopping, stopping at cafés, or strolling through the neighborhood.
To mark the 90th anniversary of Iwataya Main Store in Tenjin, Kirameki-dori will be transformed into a pedestrian-only zone for two days, hosting a special outdoor stage. The lineup includes The Goggles, Pengin Rain Orchestra with special guest Tamio Okuda, RHYMESTER, EGO-WRAPPIN’, and many other artists. Solaria Plaza will also host a K-pop dance contest, adding to the lively atmosphere throughout Tenjin.
