Celebrating the start of spring a brand new annual festival will kick of its history on Sunday, March 21. The venue is lovely Sakurai Shrine, tucked in a wooded area but also not too far some of Itoshima’s most popular beaches. There will be many food and drink stalls from all around Itoshima in addition to a variety of stage performances such as: storytelling by Reiko Tokunaga (from Asa Desu TV), Asi-en (Asian folk music), and the beautiful female vocalist “GUN”. There will be some workshops and displays of crafts too!
