Traditional Japanese weapons were not viewed merely as battle tools; these swords and armor embody the spirit of Japanese artistry. This exhibition showcases 150 exemplary pieces of armor, swords, documents, and other items from between the turbulent 11th and 17th centuries. Each weapon shows masterful craftsmanship which has been refined over the years, and over half of these items are National Treasures or Important Cultural Properties!
