Hiroshi Yoshida, born in Kurume City, was active as a leading figure in landscape painting from the Meiji to the Showa era. In recent years, his work has been reevaluated and is becoming popular recently. In this exhibition, about 200 woodblock prints and an exhibition of woodblock prints and sketchbooks unveiled for the first time will be exhibited on the 70th anniversary of his death. You can catch a glimpse of Hiroshi Yoshida’s work aimed at creating new woodblock prints by constantly challenging the world.
