The Hakata branch of the restaurant chain started by Salvatore Cuomo, the man who brought Neapolitan pizza to Japan. Here, a chef who trained under Salvatore himself offers up pizzas and grilled dishes made from ingredients sourced fresh from the market every morning. You won’t want to miss the D.O.C., a pizza topped with sweet, juicy cherry tomatoes, basil and bocconcini (mozzarella balls) that took home the top prize in the World Pizza Championship. The shop opens at 6:30, so you can enjoy breakfast before work or if you’re leaving early from the station. Be sure to check out the lunch buffet on weekends.
