Here are some snapshots we took during our tour. Amongst these shots are: a rifle similar to the first to have been used in Japan, a European shaped bell, a brochure (the only copy in the world) describing a journey to Japan in Italian, several large and magnificent painted screens, the first European map to depict Japan independently, statues from Dutch ships, and one of our favorites, a scroll depicting a monk wearing western style shoes. Fascinating! For more details on the exhibit – check out our event listing here.
