Award-Winning Sake Announced at 12th Fukuoka Liquor Appraisal

The winning sake from the Fukuoka Prefecture Liquor Appraisal, announced every year on September 5, has been revealed. This year, in addition to the gold prizes in each of the five categories for sake and shochu, the “Governor of Fukuoka Prize” and the “Chairman of the Fukuoka Prefectural Assembly Prize” were awarded to the most outstanding entries.

In the Junmai Daiginjo category, “Mii no Kotobuki Junmai Daiginjo Tobin Tori” received the Governor of Fukuoka Prize, while in the Long-Term Aged Barley Shochu category, “Kitaya Long-Term Aged Barley Shochu 33%” won the same honor.
