The Yamaguchi Financial Group, the parent company of the Bank of Kitakyushu, said the company’s new Bank of Kitakyushu will initially limit its business to Fukuoka Prefecture. The bank, which is slated to begin operation on October 3, will not expand outside the prefecture in its first three years. They hope to have 10 branches operational by that time. Their goal is to create a bank that is responsive to the needs of the community.
