China Southern Airlines announced it will fly four round-trip flights a week between Fukuoka City and Tianjin starting March 27. It will be an extension of their current route between Fukuoka City and Dalian, and the flight will still stop in Dalian. Tianjin is an economic center in northern China with a population of more than 10 million, and is only 30 minutes from Beijing by high-speed rail.
