FFG Unveils Startup Hub in Fukuoka

Fukuoka Financial Group (FFG) has opened a new facility called “GROWTH I” in Fukuoka City to support startups. The hub offers shared office spaces and will host events aimed at networking and information sharing among emerging and established businesses. Located within a complex close to the Tenjin subway station, it also features event and multipurpose spaces. Fukuoka Mayor Soichiro Takashima expressed optimism about the facility’s potential to bolster startups at the opening ceremony.

Located within a 3-minute walk from Tenjin subway station, GROWTH I is part of the “Fukuoka Daimyo Garden City” complex. It houses a shared office space on the second floor—relocated from Nishinakasu—that charges 550 yen per hour and has over 30 work seats as well as small offices and meeting rooms. The facility aims to be a networking spot for emerging businesses seeking market expansion and local companies in search of new technologies or ideas. It offers event spaces and is equipped with monitors and sound equipment for hosting seminars. Source: FFG / Growth I
