Buying freshly cut flowers can make a stay-at-home weekend more pleasant and support local growers at the same time. JA Itoshima will hold special flower sales on this coming Friday and the following Friday (4/24 & 5/1) to support local flower farmers. Canceled events due to the impact of the spread of the new coronavirus are forcing many farmers to discard flowers. JA Itoshima will facilitate the special sales of locally-produced flower arrangements at very affordable prices. A limited 200 bouquets will be available for ¥1,000 at an outdoor venue. NOTE: The venue is spacious. Maintaining adequate social distancing won’t be a problem. At the same time, we are not recommending people from outside the area travel there. We are primarily posting this as a report on a project to support local farmers.
