Fukuoka Prefecture To Resume Alcohol Service in Restaurants and Bars

Fukuoka Prefecture will allow restaurants and bars to resume serving alcoholic drinks after the current lifting state of emergency is lifted. While the region plans to continue requesting shorter operations for local eateries in the first two weeks after the SOE lifting, dine-in customers will be able to order liquor until 19:30 at shops that close at 20:00. Also, the one-hour extension would be given to eateries that follow Fukuoka Prefecture COVID-19 safety recognitions, allowing them to operate until 21:00 and taking liquor orders until 20:30. Details are to be officially decided in the prefecture’s task force meeting after the national government finalizes the lifting of the SOE on Sep. 30. Source: NHK 1 / NHK 2
