A Fukuoka City-based association for promoting Kyushu theme parks has compiled statistics for the number of visitors to the primary regional theme parks in FY 2007. The 12 member facilities reported a 3.5% year-on-year decline to 11.38 million visitors. This was attributed to higher gasoline prices and the impact of accidents at some parks.
