Huis ten Bosch, the Sasebo, Nagasaki Prefecture resort, projects more than 600 million yen in current profit for the period from October 2010 to March 2011. During the previous six months, the company posted 420 million yen in current profit, the first profitable period in its history. The resort also announced plans to purchase a used passenger-cargo ship with a capacity of 1,500 passengers to sail between Shanghai and Nagasaki starting this summer. They’ve signed a provisional contract with a Greek shipping company to operate the ship.
