JP Dragon Fraud Suspects Moved to Fukuoka

Six Japanese men, aged 27 to 45, believed to be members of the fraud group “JP Dragon,” were arrested on September 10 after being deported from the Philippines. They are accused of stealing a cash card from an 89-year-old man in Saitama by posing as police officers. Investigators say the group operated from the Philippines, making scam calls and directing money couriers in Japan, and is linked to the “Luffy” group involved in robberies across Japan. The suspects were transferred to Fukuoka on September 11 for further investigation. Source: NHK
