The Kitakyushu Asian Center for Low Carbon Society, (TRANSLATOR NOTE: That is the official name) established last year by that city to sell environmental technology overseas, has signed an agreement with the China Beijing Environment Exchange, an institute for trading environmental rights. The objective is to create a site between Japan and China, as well as other countries, for trading emission rights for greenhouse gases. They will also try to match up Japanese companies interested in selling environmental technology and Chinese companies interested in purchasing that technology.
