Kyushu Electric Power announced that electric power sales in FY 2010 totaled 87.474 kWh, a 4.9% increase from the previous year. It is the first such increase in three years, and the second-highest amount in the utility’s history. Sales to general households for the year were a record high at 63.636 kWh, a 4.3% increase, while sales to factories and other large-lot users where the third-highest in the company’s history.
