Nissan announced its intention to manufacture in Kyushu the new model of its Note mini-MPV to debut in 2013. The automaker is also mulling the use of Kyushu as its manufacturing base for other cars using the Note frame. The company’s Kyushu plant primarily makes mid-sized and larger vehicles.
