United Cinema of Tokyo announced it will begin showing films at the Imax Digital Theater in Fukuoka City’s Canal City complex on November 19th with a new screen featuring exceptionally high video quality and a unique sound system. The screen will be both wider and taller than conventional models, and extend from the floor to the ceiling. It will also be capable of showing 3D films. It will be the first theater equipped with these facilities in Kyushu.
