Revenue for the Nishi-Nippon Railroad (Nishitetsu) fell to 313.8530 billion yen for the year ended March 2010 on the consolidated report, a 9.1% year-on-year decline and the second consecutive drop. The overall decline in cash terms was 31.3 billion yen, the largest in the company’s history. Current profit also fell by 25.8% to 6.8170 billion, the third straight drop. The red ink for the company’s bus operations expanded, while their railroad and taxi business also suffered.
