Oshima Island, a world cultural heritage candidate, is testing a new sightseeing bus tour called Grand Shima-ru. Started by Nishitetsu Bus Munakata the tour bus, the test period is from April 1 2017 to March 31 2018, will run every day. Currently they are selling day passes for ¥700. They also have a special Munakata sightseeing pass for ¥5,000 that includes transport by express bus to and from Tenjin, round trip ferry ticket to the island, lunch ticket on Oshima, bicycle rental, and the pass for the Grand Shima-ru bus tour.
