Saga Prefecture is broadcasting “Night Sky Time Travel,” Kyushu’s first-ever night view projection mapping exhibit, in the top-floor observation hall of the Prefectural Office. Saga Prefecture launched the event in July 2016 in an effort to create more tourism attractions in the prefecture, and since then, around 140,000 people have come to enjoy the spectacle. Until last year, less than 10% of visitors were non-Japanese, but that percentage jumped up to around 30% last year due to an increase in regular direct flights connecting Saga to Korea and Taiwan.
