Kitakyushu-based Starflyer revealed it plans to operate flights from the Kitakyushu Airport to Guam and Saipan starting next summer. As of now, it is expected that these will be charter flights, rather than regularly scheduled flights. They plan to use the ability to operate 24 hours a day at the Kyushu Airport to schedule takeoffs in the early morning hours for arrival at the destination in the morning local time.
