Tisco Japan to Open Five Currency Exchange Shops

Fukuoka City-based Tisco Japan plans to open five currency exchange shops, primarily in Kyushu / Okinawa airports. Though overseas travel to Japan is down due to the Tohoku earthquake, the company wants to have the outlets in place when tourism recovers. The planned locations in the region are Fukuoka Airport, Nagasaki Airport, Ishigaki Airport in Okinawa Prefecture, and another location in Nagasaki Prefecture that has yet to be determined. The shops will handle the exchange of 18 currencies. There are already two currency exchange shops at the Fukuoka Airport, but Tisco’s will be at the third floor departure lobby in the new international terminal.
