Fukuoka City-based discount store Trial Company revealed that it will beef up its Asian presence. They’ve already signed an agreement with an exchange-listed Taiwanese company to form a joint venture in that country, and have sales outlets in South Korea. Next month, they will open their first Chinese store in Yantai, Shangdong Province.
