Yaskawa Electric Plans to Strengthen Chinese Presence


In an interview with the Nishinippon Shimbun, Yaskawa Electric President Junji Tsuda said the company plans to increase its presence in China. In particular, he cited a new robot systems plant for the auto industry that could open as soon as FY 2010. Mr. Tsuda said the objective was to achieve a “v-shaped recovery” by accelerating its advance into the growth areas of Asia.
