Kitakyushu-based Yaskawa Electric announced plans to create the Yaskawa India subsidiary at the end of August in Bangalore, a city in the southern part of the country. The company plans to build a factory for the manufacture of invertors and other products, which the subsidiary will sell. Production is scheduled to start next January. It will be the company’s first venture in India.
